The name game
I keep meaning to post about this but with all the baby Sam stuff, I have been thinking and writing more about that! Well, as you all know, baby number three is another girl which brings us back to the daunting task of picking out another girl's name. When we named Caroline I thought I loved it. But, as soon as we got home, I kept thinking,"This is not her name, she is not a Caroline, she is a Kathyrn(the other name I was considering for her). Jeff even says all the time, "She is totally a Katie." I mean we called her "Anna Kate" for almost a year. This was because for some reason Matthew,who at the time had major speech delays called her Anna all the time and our subconsciences must of wanted to name her Katie! So, you'd think when we found out we were having another girl we would automatically be like, "Phew, finally we will have our Katie!" Nope..not us. It is in consideration but the name I like best is Emma. Yes, I know its the number one name, don't care. I think its pretty and cute and traditional. I also love the thought of calling her Emmy. But,I also like Kathyrn and Molly and Sara. So, what do you think..after all,I did let you influence me in finding out that she was a girl.

Emma. That was going to be Nyssa's name. Until we were well into our second night at the hospital with no baby. We switched it up, because it was Chuck's favorite name and he agreed to my middle name! I love Emma. I would still consider that if we ever have another!
If Trever had been a girl he was going to be "Emma Grace"... I like the name.
I do like the name Katie. it is so cute.

I doubt you want to hear my names...we always come up with the unique names that no one has ever heard of!!! I do like Emma though. One of Caislyn's best friends names is Emma. Katie is cute too! I loved the story of that name! :) Caroline will laugh one day when you tell her about that one. :)
I'm a fan of Molly. It sounds great with your last name. Molly was on our list as well!
Those are all great names, we've always loved the classic names. We always laugh when we see kids with those "made up" names, when there are so many elegant, classy choices out there. Any of your names would be wonderful!
I love Katie! :) Actually, I think Kate would be a cute middle name...Emma Kate is cute. I know you had mentioned the name Eliza, and I like Eliza Kate. Molly is nice, and it's not overused. What about using a form of Anna? I love Annelise (yes, it is almost like my sister's name!) You really can't go wrong with any of your choices! Good luck! I thought about Maeve's name for MONTHS!!!

emma, emma, emma. that's me chanting the name. love it, love it, love it. Zoe was nearly a Catherine to be called Katie. Last minute decision in the delivery room and Zoe, it was!
